Navy Recruits Train For Special Warfare Combatant-Craft Boat Team Units

Special Warfare Combatant-Craft Crewmen, or SWCCs, are members of the United States Navy’s Special Boat Teams and are responsible for insertion, extraction, and combat fire support for the U.S. Navy SEALs. Ninety percent of riverine training takes place at night, due to the enormous advantage afforded to American special operations forces because of their extensive night vision capabilities.
